McCarthy is an accomplished senior executive and licensed attorney with an outstanding track record of building successful disruptive healthcare franchises ranging from start-ups, private equity backed to Fortune 20 companies including Abbott Laboratories, Cardinal Health, GHX, Wright Medical, and Broadlane. His leadership experience spans multiple clinical areas as well as sectors leading pharma, medical product/device, healthcare IT, and services companies from inception through market leadership.

Patrick co-founded Validcare in 2014. He and his team are on a mission to positively disrupt the broken CRO model. By employing "first principles" and optimizing use of technology, he is five years into delivering reliable, on time and on budget clinical trials in a fixed price and/or risk based model -- and just getting started!
