Dean McAlister, Executive Vice President
Dean is a seasoned professional with over 35 years of experience in the biopharma industry, currently serving as Executive Vice President of Inizio Biotech. He has worked across various pharmaceutical organizations, including a 28-year stint in the world of big pharma at AstraZeneca. During his time with the company, Dean led a number of their global and regional sales and strategic business development activities. He successfully built cross-functional teams, spanning all therapeutic areas across Europe, North America, and beyond. After leaving AstraZeneca, he was responsible for driving forward the growth of Inizio’s STEM Healthcare division in North America, increasing their portfolio from 10 clients in 2017 to 38 in just five years. Dean had several senior leadership roles with STEM Healthcare, including Senior Vice President of US Client Relations, and President of North America, before taking up his current position with Inizio Biotech. Outside of work, he is also a podcaster, trainer, public speaker, and published author.
